What is your favorite game or sport to watch and play?
Basketball. I grew up watching basketball with my dad, and I've been playing since I was 9 years old. Not only is it fun, but basketball has taught me so many important life skills including leadership, responsibility, and time management. I also learned from basketball how to be a member of a team, how to accept criticism, and how to be a humble winner and a gracious loser.
If you were a superhero, what powers would you have?
I have always wanted to be able to read minds. I'm a naturally curious person, and I think it would be so amazing to be able to get a look at what's going on in other people's heads.
What did you want to be when you were small?
When I was little, I always wanted to be a veterinarian because of my love for animals. As I got older, my love for animals never faded, but I was no longer so sure that was the path I really wanted to take, but I declared a pre-veterinary major anyway. I quickly learned that being a vet was not for me, but being in the Ag department led me to changing my major to Agricultural Business. Through my business classes, I discovered my passion for Accounting, which led me to declaring my second major.
What is your favorite organization you have been involved in?

Phi Mu is the most amazing organization I have ever been a part of. Being surrounded by such a supporting sisterhood has given me self-confidence I had never known before. It has provided me with endless opportunities ranging anywhere from service to leadership. I have been fortunate enough to serve on our executive board as the secretary, be a member of several committees, and form lifelong friendships too.
What is your favorite quote?
My favorite quote is from Oscar Wilde. He wrote, "With freedom, books, flowers, and the moon, who could not be happy?" I love this because it reminds me to appreciate the beauty in simple, everyday things.

How would your friends describe you?
My friends have described me as a dependable friend who is honest, funny, intelligent, and loving. They have also said that I am both down to earth and fun to be around.
What do you do in your free time?
I love reading, animals, the outdoors, country music, baking, playing and watching any and all sports, spending time with family and friends, and learning new things.
